On Friday, January 6th, at 6:30 PM, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lake County, in partnership with the Kelseyville United Methodist Church, launch a documentary film series. We will show the documentary:
The Age of Mankind

“An ocean that contains as much plastic as fish, an atmosphere filled with CO2 choking the whole mankind and mass extinction of animals. The destructive influence of mankind will be at least as disastrous as the asteroid element that wiped the dinosaurs off the planet. Dutch scientist Paul Crutzen introduces a new geological period: the Anthropocene, or the age of mankind.”
The documentary will be shown free of charge at 6:30 PM at the Kelseyville United Methodist Church 3810 Main St., in Kelseyville, CA and will be followed by a moderated discussion on the ideas presented in the film. All are welcome to attend.
