What’s Up This Week in The Bloom 6.4.21

It’s officially summer when your patio or deck becomes an extension of your living room and dining room. These extra hours spent outside have brought us closer to our residential wildlife, more specifically, two resident blue jays that have decided to call our home their home for the past three to four years. They are friendly and chatty enough that we’ve named them Carl and Carol. We’ve all gotten along just fine over the past few years. However, they have recently made our indoor/outdoor cat their number one enemy. I’m suspicious our cat deserves the treatment she’s getting day in and day out from them. Anyhow, needless to say, we are all are learning the blue jay language. By the end of summer, I dare say I will be fluent. This week we’re excited to share with you an article by Hilary Devine on Perry’s Deli in Middletown and a new podcast by Michelle Scully. Have a great weekend Lake County!
