A parade of incredible collector cars will participate in a County-wide socially-distant car cruise to raise funds for Operation Tango Mike on Saturday, August 15 starting at 10 am and cruising through the towns of Kelseyville and Clearlake on their way to Running Creek Casino. The cruise is a socially-distant way to raise funds for Operation Tango Mike while also respecting the realities of today’s world.
Those who wish to see the cars can gather, respecting social distancing, and watch and wave as the cars roll by. Great places to see this will be downtown Kelseyville and near the Clearlake Police Department as well as at the Featherbed Railroad. The event will also be a great reminder to support Operation Tango Mike and the Americans who serve our country in the armed services and the veterans who have done so.
In the past, the Lakeside Car Show has been a huge fundraiser for Operation Tango Mike. This year’s cruise is taking the place of that show as we recognize the challenges of keeping our participants safe. The event will absolutely make every effort to respect social distancing and being courteous of others by wearing masks. In fact, there will even be an award for the best mask given along with awards for vehicles, furthest traveled, best club participation, and more.
More information as well as vehicle registration can be found at www.curbside.tv/lakeboatshow. A photo recap of the show, complete list of sponsors and their contact information and a video reel is available at www.curbside.tv/lakeboatshow.
