Beginning on Friday August 6th 2021, Twin Pine Casino & Hotel raised its minimum wage for employees in non-tipped positions to $15.50 per hour. This minimum wage is above the required minimum wage of $15 per hour for California workers set to begin in January of 2022.
“As a Tribe and business, we are committed to providing the best wage we can for our dedicated employees. Our employees are the backbone of the casino and we appreciate their hard work,” said Middletown Rancheria Tribal Chairman Jose “Moke” Simon III. “We hope this will help our employees and their families through these difficult times.”
In addition to increasing the minimum wage for non-tipped employees, Twin Pine Casino has implemented a monthly bonus program through December of 2021 and an employee meal program. “We want our employees to know how much we appreciate them and hope these programs will have a positive impact on their employment with Twin Pine Casino & Hotel” said Kyle Lewis, Marketing Director for Twin Pine Casino & Hotel.
