Christmas in Lake County is a chance to meet old and new neighbors as well as an opportunity to support local businesses and merchants. Instead of making the drive over the hill to the city, head to a Christmas parade, do some shopping and enjoy the charms of a small-town Christmas.
It is with deep regret that the Lakeport Main Street Association is announcing the cancellation of the Dickens’ Christmas Market that was to be held this Saturday, November 30, starting at 11 am. Due to the severity of the storm scheduled to hit Lakeport on Saturday, we feel that the safety of our attendees and vendors is the most important issue.
The Kelseyville United Methodist Church and the Unitarian Universalist Community of Lake County invite people to stop by the church at 3810 Main Street in Kelseyville during Christmas in the Country on December 6. The church will be open for caroling and is also a great spot for watching the parade.
The Evans and Sutherland Planetarium show “Mystery of the Christmas Star” tells the story of the Christmas Star with a fascinating astronomic slant. Showings at Taylor Observatory on Saturday, Nov 30, 2019, two days after Thanksgiving, are at 7:30 and 8:30PM. Admission is $6.00 (no charge to Lake County K-12 students).
