Exhibit Title: Apart & Connected
The Middletown Art Center seeks strong, well-crafted work in any medium that expresses the new normal which now marks over one year of challenges with distancing and how we strive to maintain connectedness.
Opening March 20, on view through June 20th

Submissions due: via email before or by March 2, 2021
Delivery of artwork: by March 12, from 10:30am – 4:30pm.

All work will be juried by the MAC Curatorial Team. In addition to the MAC Gallery work will be showcased on our website in a virtual gallery, as well as on ArtworkArchive.com.
Submission fee: $40 for 1-3 pieces, $35 for Lake County residents. $10 for each additional image. MAC pro-members may submit up to 8 works for consideration for free. Find out more about joining as a member on our website visit middletownartcenter.org/artists

Application: Please include the following for submission, send via email to artwork@middletowartcenter.org OR Google Drive Shared Folder (with editing access):
- Completed application form, Pls. save and rename with your name or initials, “Your_Name_Apart&Connected”
- Images, JPEG 1200 pixels on the longest side so that your work can be included on our website or print PR.
- Artist Bio and Statement, including but not limited to: Art works meaning, process, material discussion, etc. (1 page max, Word document, 12 point, Arial Font)
- All work must be gallery ready at drop off. If 2D, in frame or with painted edge and hanging wire when delivered to MAC,
Sales: MAC will receive a 40% commission of artwork sold. 60% paid to the artist at the end of the show.
MAC was created to provide exhibition, teaching, and income opportunities for artists, and arts and cultural engagement options for Lake County residents, and visitors.
