Lake County Music Guide 12.21.21

For the week of 12/21 through 12/27, with Christmas occurring on a Saturday, you’ve probably already guessed there’s not gonna be much going on, live music-wise. But there are a few things to report, so everybody inhale, then hold your breath – here goes…

On Thursday from 6 to 9:00, The Saw Shop Public House will feature The LC Diamonds. Come get an excellent meal, libations from a full bar and the fun music of the LCDs – ain’t a bad way to start the Christmas weekend. Reservations are suggested.

In Lakeport at Library Park, the final two “Lakeport Blizzards” are happening between 6 and 6:30. Expect a light display to brighten your hopes, actual snow falling all around, plus the music of acapella group, My Divas. It’s gonna be a Winter Wonderland, Folks!

On Friday, Robinsons Rancheria Lounge is proud to bring to you NorCal Country Music singer songwriter, Justin Saylor. He’s considered the #1 Country/Folk Artist in the Bay Area and was an American Idol contestant. He’ll be playing from 5 to 9:00.

On Saturday, Christmas night, Lake County Royalty is coming back to the Lounge when local Blues masters “Twice as Good” take the stage from 9 to 1:00. This Father/Son duo have been blowing folks away all over the country – go see why…

On Sunday, Ukiah Brewing will feature the exciting combo, The Jazz Dudes from 5 to 7:00. Also, all friends of Scott Simkover put this on your calendars – Scott, owner and proprietor of the Smiling Dogs Ranch and Tasting Room will celebrate a milestone birthday and you’re all invited to the Tasting Room in Kelseyville at 5:00 on Wednesday, December the 29th, (that’s next week, Mojo…). It will be a pot luck, BYOB affair – but Scott’s excellent wines will be on sale by the bottle or glass. And, of course, Dave Broida and Blues Farm will be there to keep you all on the dance floor throughout the evening. I’ll mention this again next week…

Okay, Folks. As I said, it’s not much, but now you have the time to gear up for New Year’s Eve. So far this is who’s playing December 31st; Red’s Blues will play the Smiling Dog’s Tasting Room in Kelseyville.

Mike Guarniero
