As a poetic mermaid, I wear many fin covers on my tail. I offer Watsu (water massage), teach swimming to all ages, and manage pools. I also work at Harbin Hot Springs. I write about nature and our place in it. In the Valley Fire (2015) l rescued kitties first, the computer with my poetry on it second. Everything else was lost. A new group of poems became “Forged in Fire”. It was such a relief when a poem written a while ago belonged in a new collection, “Golden Rules”. “65 year old Garden” might be the start of a whole new book, trying to unravel the knot we’re in with the COVID-19 virus. Perhaps more of us will garden, knit, read, write…
